How to increase productivity at work

We all want to increase our productivity especially when we are at a work. We all want to work effectively. Especially when we are going to start a new company or starting a new job. More productive means more success. Here, we are going to see ways to increase productivity, shared by Vlad Kachur.


The number one is you must have checklist. Make a list of tasks you want to achieve in a day. Don't keep them in your mind. Write it on a paper. Make a digital notes. Write it on anything you feel ease when you need to watch.

Prepare your checklist of tasks a night before. You see people are doing things in speed because they don't prepared their tasks a night before. We can forget important things on time which we have to do. So, take care is better than regret.

Avoid multitasking at a time. Multitasking is not a good thing you need to do. Just focus on one thing at a single time and do it with full energy. If you will do focus on one thing at a time, it will be more productive.


Do the hard things first. Do the things first that are mentally challenging. Do the tasks that require lot of thinking. Do your smart work that requires a lot of brain power.

You don't need to keep checking your mail after sometime. Just check your mail twice a day in morning and evening. Another most important thing is remove your notifications. Pause the notification of all apps. All successful people keeps notification off during work.


Allocate time for each task. Decide when you will finish your specific task. How much time you will spend on specific task. It will help you to meet your checklist. It also enables you to keep in touch with your checklist.

Start your day with charging your self. Do exercise in the morning. If you do exercise, you will have more energy to spend in a day. You will do things with power. You can also increase productivity by minimizing interruptions. Keep all things away who disturbs you during work.


Separate must do things from your check list. You can have hundred of things to do. But you want somethings must be done in a day. It will increase your productivity.


Some of the other things can also be helpful to increase your productivity like,

  • Don't eat heavy food.

  • Prioritize your tasks.

  • Stay hydrated.

  • Wake up early.

  • Read in a morning.
